House of Emunah started in a season that tested us — the kind where you don't have answers, only faith. We're a husband-and-wife team based in Guelph, Ontario, and like a lot of people, we didn't plan on starting a brand. We were just trying to get through.
We won't pretend it was easy. There were nights without answers, and mornings where the only thing we had to hold onto was emunah — the Hebrew word for faith.
Why "Emunah"
Emunah means more than belief. It means trust — the kind that holds steady even when you can't see the whole road ahead. It's the word that got us through, so it's the name we wanted everything we make to carry.
What we learned the hard way
When you stay rooted in faith through hardship, the outcome on the other side is worth the walk. Not because the hardship disappears — but because faith changes what you carry through it, and what you carry out the other side.
That belief is the foundation for every piece we design. Each one starts with a verse, a feeling, or a moment from our own walk of faith, and becomes something you can actually wear, give, or hold onto on an ordinary day.
